Golden vintage interior

Gold in your interior: I used to find it tacky or kitschy, but now I can't live without it. It just depends on where and how you use it.

The great thing about gold is that it goes with many colours. In combination with dark colours you immediately get a chic, extravagant interior. In combination with light shades it becomes summery again. Gold provides a warm, luxurious atmosphere in a modern interior. And in a vintage Hollywood Regency or Mid Century interior it is indispensable.

Subdued or an extrovert golden interior

Gold can be used in different ways: exuberantly or modestly. Do you want to add a little touch of gold to your interior? You can do this by using brass candlesticks or vases . Do you like glamour? Then go for gold lamps , smoked glass side tables and vintage mirrors.

Incidentally:
With white tiled floors, white walls and black dark oak cabinets, gold quickly becomes kitschy. In that case, add a nice rug, plants and wall decoration. 😉
