Personal data that we process
Seens processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

The personal data we process to deliver your order:

  • First and last name
  • Address details
  • Email address
  • Optional: gender and phone number

Seens processes your personal data for the following purposes:

  • Processing your payment
  • To offer you the opportunity to create an account
  • To deliver goods and services to you
  • Sending newsletters, provided you have subscribed to them

Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process

Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years old. Unless they have permission from parents or guardians. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore recommend that parents be involved in the online activities of their children, in order to prevent data about children being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@seens.nl, then we will delete this information.

Retention periods

We store your data for as long as you are a customer of ours. This means that we store your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also regard this as a request to be forgotten. Based on applicable administrative obligations, we must store invoices with your (personal) data. We will therefore store this data for as long as the applicable term runs. However, employees no longer have access to your customer profile and documents that we have produced in response to your order. 

Sharing personal data with third parties

We only share your personal data with other companies or institutions if this is necessary for our online service or if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand this in the event of a suspected crime).

We work together with the companies listed below. These partners may therefore receive certain personal data. This is necessary to provide you with the services for which you have registered.

Mollie

We use the Mollie payment system to process (part of) the payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address and place of residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the service and to share (anonymized) data with third parties in this context. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's service for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than is permitted on the basis of the legal terms.

PostNL

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that PostNL uses subcontractors, PostNL will also make your information available to these parties.

DHL

If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of DHL to carry out deliveries. For this purpose, it is necessary that we share your name, address and place of residence with DHL. DHL uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that DHL uses subcontractors, DHL will also make your information available to these parties.

Google Analytics

Cookies are placed via our website by the American company Google, as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to track and receive reports on how visitors use the website. This processor may be required by applicable laws and regulations to provide access to this data. We collect information about your surfing behavior and share this data with Google. Google can interpret this information in conjunction with other datasets and in this way track your movements on the internet. Google uses this information to offer targeted advertisements (Adwords) and other Google services and products.

YourWeb

For hosting and execution of the webshop, Seens uses the services of JouwWeb. All data that you leave on the website and via the e-mail of Seens are stored on the servers of Jouwweb. The website and backups of the website are also hosted at JouwWeb.

Jos Dusseldorp Transport

If you place an order with us and have chosen delivery via the courier service, we use the services of Jos Dusseldorp Transport. For this purpose, it is necessary that we share your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number with Jos Dusseldorp Transport. Jos Dusseldorp Transport uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that Jos Dusseldorp Transport uses subcontractors, Jos Dusseldorp Transport will also make your information available to these parties.

Your rights

You have the right to request your data that is recorded and stored by Seens at any time. You can do this by sending an email to info@seens.nl. You will then receive an overview of your data.

Are your details incorrect? Or have your details changed? You have the right to have this rectified by Seens. You can adjust your details regarding the newsletter via the designated URL at the bottom of each newsletter.

Do you no longer want your data to be stored at Seens? Then you have the right to have your data deleted.

You have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority if you believe that Seens is not handling your data correctly.

How we protect personal data

Seens takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification.
