00815 The Cleopatra bed by Auping was designed by Dick Cordemijer and was one of the first beds to be industrially produced. An iconic, timeless design of Dutch origin. These two beds belonged to a lady who lives nearby. She bought them in 1967: one for the rooms, one for the parental home. Later they functioned as a double bed. Because the lady is going to move to a smaller house soon, the beds had to go. The beds were bought at the same time but do have a different base. One is softer than the other (with iron wire through the base). In addition, they have been used and therefore have signs of wear as can be seen in the photos.
