01405 Normally we limit ourselves to mid-century furniture, but we couldn't resist this antique cabinet. This large display cabinet was made in Surabaya, Indonesia. Until the end of the 1940s this was a colony of the Netherlands, so it actually comes from the Dutch East Indies. So it is a cabinet with a colonial past and a long history. Judging by the style, the round glass and the finishes, it was made in the first half of the last century. If you look further, you will see that it has a label with a 4-digit telephone number from which you can deduce that it was made in the period from the 1920s to the 1930s. So about 100 years old. Due to the size of the piece of furniture, it comes into its own in a spacious interior. Please note: with this piece of furniture it is important that it is placed on a straight (level) floor.

good, one glass door has a crack (see photos), otherwise in good used condition. Two keys present.
