Vintage coffee table Wébé

00371 FAKE? This fantastic vintage coffee table is marked by Wébé: a Dutch manufacturer! But this model.. was designed by the Danish Illum Wikkelso, right? I can't find anywhere whether these two parties ever worked together. Did Wébé copy the model? Or did someone put a Wébé mark on it themselves to confuse matters? I can't figure it out. Can you? I'd love to hear from you!

Condition: The table is very solid but has a (water) damage on the top. Otherwise it is in good condition. Due to lack of time I do not have time to sand the top completely. If the curl bothers you, you can restore it - I am happy to give you tips!
