The beautiful chest of drawers you see above is made in Sweden. Scandinavian furniture has always been popular worldwide. And I don't mean Ikea. But what makes this furniture so special? Something you see in all Scandinavian furniture is that it is functional. Not too much fuss - less is more. When many European countries were busy letting go of crafts through industrialization, Scandinavia always tried to keep their crafts alive. Simplicity, natural materials and quality! And that shows, because this wonderful Swedish chest of drawers made of teak from the 1960s is still in beautiful condition. The inside of the drawers does have traces of use, but oh well. You accept that when you see it.
